During Summer 1 the teachers will be preparing the children for SATs by focusing on arithmetic fluency, reasoning skills, spelling and grammar rules and reading comprehension strategies. They will use past papers for familiarity, practising timed questions to build speed and using visual techniques for vocabulary and mathematical concepts.
